This fall, COUTH will be participating in two major events for the European manufacturing industry: 35th BI-MU in Milan and Advanced Manufacturing Madrid.
Two different events, but with one thing in common: bringing together professionals seeking to improve their production processes through new technologies, automation, digitization, and solutions tailored to today’s manufacturing needs.
For COUTH, these will also be two opportunities to meet with customers, partners, and industry professionals to discuss real-world applications of marking and traceability.
Because behind every project lies a different need: a new part to identify, a material that poses challenges, a production line where marking needs to be integrated, or traceability requirements that demand greater control.
First stop: 35.BI-MU, Milan
From October 13–16, 2026, we’ll be at 35.BI-MU, at fieramilano Rho, Milan.
This edition of the Italian trade show celebrates 70 years of history and brings together technologies related to machine tools, robotics, digital manufacturing, automation, additive manufacturing, and other technologies linked to manufacturing processes.
An environment in which marking and traceability are becoming increasingly important.
As production processes move toward greater automation and connectivity, identifying a part is no longer an isolated operation. Marking must be able to adapt to the production cycle, handle variable data, and—when the application requires it—integrate with other production and control systems.
What can we discuss together at BI-MU?
During the trade show, our team will be available to explore new applications and assess the requirements specific to each project.
What material do you need to mark? What is the part’s geometry like? Do you need to integrate the system into an existing line? Should identification be part of a traceability process?
These are some of the questions that determine which technology and configuration to use.
COUTH works with laser, micro-percussion, and scribing technologies, in addition to developing customized solutions for applications where a standard configuration does not meet all the process’s needs.

A few weeks later, we’ll be heading to Madrid.
On November 4 and 5, COUTH will participate in Advanced Manufacturing Madrid at IFEMA.
The event brings together various fields of advanced manufacturing, ranging from machine tools to automation and digitization, surface treatment, additive manufacturing, and quality control technologies.
Two days to learn how the industry is evolving and, above all, to discuss the challenges arising in production firsthand.
From Marking a Part to Its Traceability
One of these needs is to ensure that identification becomes an integral part of the production process itself.
A DataMatrix code, QR code, serial number, or other identifier can link a part to information generated at different stages of the process.
But to achieve this, simply applying a mark is not enough.
It is necessary to study how the information is generated, when the marking should take place, how the part enters the system, and how it should interact with the rest of the production equipment or systems.
That is why, during Advanced Manufacturing Madrid, our team will be available to analyze both marking needs and projects in which identification, automation, and traceability must work together.
