The COUTH LASER PRISMA rack-mounted system combines a marking head with a control rack. The head can be mounted on a rigid support or column adapted to the part. This is an option for flexible marking stations that require customization of the mounting, communications, and safety measures. This is a Class 4 laser system; the workstation\u2019s protective enclosure must be designed for each specific installation.<\/p>\n
The COUTH LASER PRISMA marking station integrates the laser, the worktable, a motorized Z-axis, and interlocks into a compact enclosure. With the door closed and safety devices operational, it functions as a Class 1 system under normal use. It accommodates parts up to 300 \u00d7 200 mm; the maximum height depends on the installed lens.<\/p>\n
Contactless Identification and Traceability<\/h2>\n
Both configurations allow for the creation of text, references, serial numbers, barcodes and 2D codes, GS1 data, images, and logos. The operator prepares jobs in the marking software from a PC connected via Ethernet. The two head pointers help position the part\u2019s surface in the focal plane.<\/p>\n
The 1064 nm fiber technology is suitable for steel, aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, and other metals; it can also mark certain plastics. The final contrast and legibility depend on the material, its finish, the optics, and the parameters, so it is advisable to validate each application with actual samples.<\/p>\n
Which Configuration to Choose<\/h2>\n
If your priority is a marking head that can be adapted to a specific mount or installation, the rack-mounted COUTH LASER PRISMA offers that flexibility. If you need an enclosed workstation with integrated protection and motorized height adjustment, the COUTH LASER PRISMA marking station combines these features into a single unit. Both versions feature air cooling and perform contactless marking without consumable tools.<\/p>\n
