Micro-dots Marking - MC 2000

General Description Characteristics Models Options and accessories Control Units
General Description

MC 2000 is an electrically or pneumatically operated machine which makes marks by tracing and incising a series of micro-dots at an adjustable impact force. It allows a wide range of characters and signs previously stored in its memory to be marked with the required size and depth.

Permanent marking is possible on almost all sorts of materials (metal, plastic, wood, glass, etc.) due to the repeated action of a properly sharpened hard-metal stylus. With this system, it is possible to mark extremely hard, uneven and irregular, flat and curved workpieces that will however experience neither high stresses nor deformations.

As standard, the MC 2000 machine consists of four interconnected elements forming a desktop machine. Those elements are:

1- A MARKING UNIT, with its solenoid-driven stylus head, coordinate indexing slides, ancillary equipment and supports, that make up the mechanical component of the machine;
2- A CONTROL UNIT, housing the electronic drive system, microprocessor and ligthed display;
3- A PUSHBUTTON STATION for the ON/PAUSE/OFF commands;.
4- A KEYBOARD for controlling the machine and setting its working parameters, on the MC 2000 K model only. (MC 2000 S models do not include a keyboard, since they are operated from a PC or as slave of another computer).
